Backup your data NOW
Look, we all know that backing up your data is important. Yes we’ve all heard it so many times, and then when things go bad we swear that next time we’ll backup. We want you TO backup your data, and to be extra safe, back it up in more than one place.
How?
Simple!!
If you have any Apple computer running OS X 10.5 or later you have the software already – TIME MACHINE. Connect an external Hard Drive (either Firewire or USB) and tell Time machine to back up your data. That’s it! That’s all you have to do. Every hour Time Machine will back your data up to your external Hard Drive and your data will be safe.
The second part of this is backing your data off-site. This means in case of an emergency (such as a fire) your data will be safe elsewhere. We recommend VCOB by Virtua Computers.
There are other companies that do this of course, but the guys at Virtua Computers have this down to a science. Plus if you need a recovery they can bring all your data within 24 hours to your location!
Remember – back up your data. The last thing you want to be doing is crying saying your dog ate your hard drive
