Despite the funny pic at Mactropolis, a taiwanese rumor site DigitTimes (not the one who released pics of the new iPhone or the new MacBook) have come forth and stated a CDMA iPhone is in the works, and is being built at Pegatron. They believe the new iPhone will be shipping from China to Apple in Q4 right in time for the September iPod event. I personally do not believe this, as in 2007 when the iPhone was released Jobs said 5 year exclusive contract. For those bad at math - 2007 + 5 = 2012! Sorry...

New iPod Touch with Camera or Discarded Prototype?

Vietnamese site Tinhte has leaked another bit of Apple hardware.  The consistency of these releases begs the question, is there a wide open leak at Foxconn or were these all acquired in one raid? Regardless, our smugglers have released photo's of an uncirculated iPod Touch.  Uncirculated, not next-gen because it is not yet clear if this is truly a next-gen device or a leftover refresh that never made it to market from last year.  Compared to the pictures already seen of the next-gen iPhone it seems more likely this is a just a discarded prototype Tinhte either acquired late...

The same Vietnamese site that leaked more iPhone 4 photos the other day has now leaked pictures, a video and specifications of the new white, plastic MacBook. The current machine, which sells for $999 USD, rocks a 2.26Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo processory, and a NVIDIA GeForce 9400M video card. According to Tinhte.com, the new MacBook will have a 2.4Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo processor and start using the NVIDIA GeForce 320M video card.  All the other specs remain the same (250GB HD, 2GB Ram, 7 hour battery life, etc, etc).  This is the second major leak...

A new 4th Generation iPhone 4G surfaced in Vietnam

Vietnamese Mac Forum taoviet.vn released photos and video of yet another misplaced (?) 4th generation iPhone.  And thanks to Google Translate you can read the forums yourself for the original leak.  This hot prototype is believed to have been purchased on the black market in the US for $4000.00, by a travelling business man who also scooped up an iPad before heading back to Vietnam and infamy.  It is too soon to know if Apple is taking as stern a stance in regard to the newest leak of its coveted hardware, but the photos and videos are still online...
