Rumor Mill: iPad v2 with second dock port or SD card slot

The Mission Repair blog has posted photos of what looks to be the back case of the next-gen iPad. The new case sports a second dock port hole, which could be for either docking in landscape mode or a SD card slot. Mission Repair has had a shaky history with calling Apple equipment. They got their hands on the 1st gen iPad shell where they, correctly, posted the internal antenna but incorrectly talked about the space for the camera (it turned out to be an ambient sensor) Apple already includes SD card slots on the Mac Mini, iMac...

Ok so the story is that the Apple Store's are pulling the USB based SuperDrive which was designed for the MacBook Air and the Mac Mini server - the question is why? People believe it's because of the rumor of the smaller 11.6" MacBook Air that we talked about back in July. The Apple Store online was offline this morning but no changes were made to the front end - so maybe it's gonna be soon. Apple has yet to do release any information about their holiday promotions. ...

Rumor Alert – 11.6″ MacBook Air?!?!?!

MacBook Air, the 1.5lbs, low power, super portable laptop isn't doing so well. Introduced in January 2008 (I was at that MacWorld!) and last updated in June of 2009, the Air is a great laptop for those on the go. The lack of upgrades made it un-welcomed by a lot of computer users. The machine comes with 2GB of built in RAM, and either an 80GB or 128GB SSD HD. So what's the rumor? A smaller version of course! Try a 11.6" screen. Try a carbon-fiber enclosure to make it thinner and lighter....

What iPad Camera?

Ok this is kinda ridiculous, but the rumor mill is swarming with a new version of the iPad coming this holiday season. The iPad has only been out like 6 months! FaceTime, Apple's WiFi only video conferencing application on the iPhone, has been a big hit. Enough so that Apple has included FaceTime into the new iPod Touch. So yes, there will probably be a camera in version 2 of the iPad, but will it be this holiday season - probably not. Apple can't keep up with demand for the current model. Only recently has the...

So with less than 24 hours until the actual Apple event, the new iPod cases are leaking all over the internet. Today we bring you the case leak for the iPod Nano.
As you can see Apple redesigned the iPod Nano to use the proprietary 30-pin connector found on all their other iDevices. Rumor is that the device will be a small touch-screen compatible device. Image your iPod Touch was Alice in Wonderland...the Nano would be if she drank the "Drink Me"...
