Good Afternoon on this chilly December day in New York. This is the newest member of Virtua Computers Inc., Anthony, and I'm updating our blog on two topics: the Grand Central store opening and Apple TV rumors. First off, Apple has opened yet another beautiful store in NYC, it's Grand Central location. I visited the store when it opened to the public on Dec. 9th and there was a mob of people in the 23,000-square-foot store. The store is located in the middle of the terminal and wraps around on the upper floors. Check it out, it's easily the most accessible...

No need to wait till Sept 1 to see what the new iPod design will look like - just scour the internet and you will find yet another batch of leaked iPod cases. In today's leak, the new case seems to fit the iPod Touch, and has a cut out of a rear facing camera. The form is nearly identical that of the current version, with the transparent rear being curved just the Touch is now. Your thoughts?

A Chinese online store seems to be selling components of what people believe will be the new iPod touch. This one with a front facing camera. The panel, which sells for $95 USD/650 Chinese Yuan, has a cable on it that depicts "Apple (c) 2010". The front facing camera would allow the iPod Touch to use FaceTime, Apple's Wifi video chat software. On line at the 5th Ave Apple store in NYC many people were excited about the FaceTime feature (to watch that video click here). Jobs has said that Apple will ship tens...

Digitimes.com is reporting that Apple is almost ready to release a new 11.6" MacBook Air using the new Intel i-Series processors. The designer should create a slimmer, lighter model and will be released sometime in the second half of 2010. They also report that a new iPod touch will be released in August/Sept. This is WAY more likely since Apple does the "free" iPod ad every September to go with their Back to School program. Digitimes reports that the new iPod Touch will have a 3-megapixel camera and use the new A4 chip that is in both the...

John Lewis, a retail giant in the UK has leaked the details of the new iPod Touch. Not surprising Apple will make the iPod Touch look just like the iPhone, just without the phone part. The details include a release date in September (which is standard for Apple), a 5MP camera, a front facing camera, a gyroscope and FaceTime over WiFi.
A UK Tech Blog (Pocket Lint) grabbed a pic of the information.
"Uh, hello...this is John Lewis"
"John, Steve...remember what we did to gizmodo? You are next!"

In a not so surprising move from Wal-Mart, they've dropped the 16GB iPhone 3GS to $97. There are two possible reasons for this: 1. Wal-Mart wants to increase sales of the 3GS iPhone to make way for the soon to be released iPhone 4 2. The 3GS will replace the 8gb 3G as the entry-level iPhone sometime next year. Jobs has already stated that the new iPhone 4.0 software will only work on 3GS and the iPad. This sounds like the Apple way to get people to ditch their current iPhones (even if they still work) and buy the...
