It was a big day at Apple HQ. Apple released today, iLife 11 - with massive updates to iPhoto, iMovie and GarageBand. iMovie now has the ability to create movie trailers - I can't wait to get Leonard in here to start working on that....speaking of which - has anyone seen Leonard lately? He's gone missing! Apple also previewed OS X 10.7 Lion. The preview was short and sweet, but essentially shows how Apple is using the iOS which was once influenced by OS X, to influence OS X! So yesterday was the birthday for OS X. It was X years old (get it...it's 10!). MacWorld did an exposé (see what I did there! Another Apple pun) on it's history and life. An interesting quote towards the bottom of the article states that "Apple had a 20 to 30 year lifespan in mind for OS X".
