ATI, the video card maker, is dead. Started in 1985, the Canadian company was acquired by chip-maker AMD in 2006. So it looks likes like Vietnam leak was real. Apple announced today the release of the updated MacBook. The specifications are pretty close what Tinhte.com said they would be.

  • 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
  • 2GB DDR3 memory
  • 250GB hard drive1
  • 8x double-layer SuperDrive
  • NVIDIA GeForce 320M graphics
  • Built-in 10-hour battery
  • Polycarbonate unibody enclosure

Vietnamese site leaks updated MacBook

The same Vietnamese site that leaked more iPhone 4 photos the other day has now leaked pictures, a video and specifications of the new white, plastic MacBook. The current machine, which sells for $999 USD, rocks a 2.26Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo processory, and a NVIDIA GeForce 9400M video card. According to Tinhte.com, the new MacBook will have a 2.4Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo processor and start using the NVIDIA GeForce 320M video card.  All the other specs remain the same (250GB HD, 2GB Ram, 7 hour battery life, etc, etc).  This is the second major leak...
