According to a CNNMoney article, American's love their computers but prefer Apple's Mac platform to Windows PC. An American Customer Satisfaction Index shows that out of 100, PC score a rating of 78, up 3 points from last year. Apple's rating is 86, up 2 points from last year. This is the seventh year the Mac platform has beaten the PC on this particular index. This is caused by Apple's release of products like the iPod, iPhone, and iPad as well as Steve Job's brilliant marketing schemes. Another major factor (at least over the...

Sept 1st won't only be the day the new iPod's come out...no no. Plex the hotness in OS X media center software has been revamped from scratch. Instead of being one giant monolithic program, the developers changed the system to make a media server, and a thin client. One of Plex 9's new features (which ps I'm already loving, without even having tried it) is that you can run Plex media server on one computer...and start to watch your movie, then pause...go to another room launch Plex on that media center computer and pick up where...

Digitimes.com is reporting that Apple is almost ready to release a new 11.6" MacBook Air using the new Intel i-Series processors. The designer should create a slimmer, lighter model and will be released sometime in the second half of 2010. They also report that a new iPod touch will be released in August/Sept. This is WAY more likely since Apple does the "free" iPod ad every September to go with their Back to School program. Digitimes reports that the new iPod Touch will have a 3-megapixel camera and use the new A4 chip that is in both the...

Well the folks at Bayerische Motoren Werke AG have been hard at work to bring you another first in the automotive world. Read More

We all run into this problem on a daily basis.  "Where is that damn flash drive?!?!"  However, I bet if I asked you where your iPod is you could get it for me even with a blindfold on, right?  Well it turns out that besides listening to music and watching Lost on your iPod, you can use it for something productive as well.  Note, this trick does NOT work on any iPod Touch models. The Register has posted what Britons believe are the top 100 inventions of all time. Top of the list at number one - the wheel (good choice Britain) and at the bottom in the number 100 spot is Clothes Peg. Now here's the kicker - the Apple iPhone comes in at number 8 - just above a Flushing toilet!!! Britain - come on! Apple's iPod comes in at 56, while headphones come in at 75. There seems to be no logic to this list but here it is for all to see.

New iPod Touch with Camera or Discarded Prototype?

Posted by Justin on May 19, 2010, Categories: Apple Stuff

Vietnamese site Tinhte has leaked another bit of Apple hardware.  The consistency of these releases begs the question, is there a wide open leak at Foxconn or were these all acquired in one raid? Regardless, our smugglers have released photo's of an uncirculated iPod Touch.  Uncirculated, not next-gen because it is not yet clear if this is truly a next-gen device or a leftover refresh that never made it to market from last year.  Compared to the pictures already seen of the next-gen iPhone it seems more likely this is a just a discarded prototype Tinhte either acquired late...
