The Apple Peel 520 is an iPod touch case that essentially turns your iPod into an iPhone. The case has a dock connector, a battery and a slot for a SIM card. Go Solar USA will be the American distributor. They claim that you can expect almost 5 hours of talk time with 120 hours of standby time. The only caveat - you must jailbreak your iPod Touch. Go Solar USA hasn't yet set a price, but in China the device sells for 520 Yuan, which is about 75 bucks USD. Check out...

It can - but only with the new magic case that Apple just patented. Apple applied for a accessory transceiver. Essentially it's a case that has a SIM card in it that allows for voice and data to travel over a cell network. Apple's patent doesn't seem to be aiming at adding voice to the iPod touch, but more towards allow the iPhone to use a CDMA network (for those keeping score that's Verizon and Sprint). It seems like a lot for Apple to be actually coming up with this device, but knowing Apple it's probably...

After nearly 20 years of being anti-Mac, Autodesk is finally bringing back AutoCAD, the very popular 2D/3D design software, to the Mac. Autodesk ditched the Mac OS back in the early 90's (as did many other software manufacturers and users) Starting this October, you too can pay $4000 for AutoCAD on your Mac. So nany-nany poo poo to the PC users who say they only use PC because of AutoCAD. Autodesk is also reportedly working an a version of AutoCAD that will work on the iOS. Clearly you aren't going to be building the Sears...

The panel, which sells for $95 USD/650 Chinese Yuan, has a cable on it that depicts "Apple (c) 2010". The front facing camera would allow the iPod Touch to use FaceTime, Apple's Wifi video chat software. Well not really the wireless carrier has recently submitted a new iPod touch case to the FCC. This case will provide your iPod touch with a WiFi hot spot, via sprints 3G network, allowing you to use internet on your iPod touch no matter where you are, assuming you have service. Couple this with Skype and you have yourself an iPhone on Sprint. Now I don't know if its worth it but if you have a 3G or a 3GS and are not planning on getting an iPhone 4 this is a viable option to get you off of AT&T,...
