Adobe gives up on Flash for iPhone/iPad

The war between Apple and Adobe has finally ended. Adobe has raised their white flag and dropped all attempts to bring Flash to the iPhone/iPad. According to an article on CNET - Adobe's principal product manager for Flash, Mike Chambers, has been quoted as saying "Flash has always been to enable cross browser, platform and device development - however this is the exact opposite of what Apple wants."  Chambers is referring to the new iPhone 4.0 Software Development Kit (SDK) license changes that Apple recently released.  According to the SDK license, only Apple approved coding, such as...

In a bid to smooth things over with Apple, Adobe is set to launch the next version of its Creative Suite and include features within Flash that will allow Developers to use the software for App creation.  Adobe is trying their hardest to keep the lid on the features for it since they are hosting a video broadcast of the launch event on Adobe TV.
