I can’t tell you how many people I know that have said, “if the iPhone ever comes to Verizon, i’m switching!” Well fight fans, the battle between iPhone and Android on Verizon Wireless may soon come to an end.
According to a story in todays Wall Street Journal, the new iPhone will be announced in June at WWDC and will be CDMA ready. For those of you that don’t know, CDMA is the cellular technology Verizon uses for its network.
The addition of the iPhone to Verizon Wireless would make both Apple and Verizon an unstoppable force. Verizon Wireless has 91.2 MILLION subscribers to date. Think about that, 91.2 MILLION iPhones!
Too bad I just got the Droid in November….
