iFixit.com has posted it's teardown of the new Apple TV. The findings inside? Apples A4 chip (same as the iPad and iPhone 4), an 8GB NAND flash chip, and 256MB of RAM. On the side of the Apple TV's logic board were solder pads that would be a perfect fit for the iDevices dock connector. Technology wise it's very similar to the iPad and iPhone, and now that we know it's running iOS - the jailbreaking community will be hard at work cracking this one! Read More

Apple has finally determined that some ATI x1900 XT cards (the big red ones) used in the original MacPro and the MacPro (8x) may have some issues. Cards with V6Z in the last 4 digits are subjected to a recall. If you have an ATI card (check your system profiler), bring the card itself to an Apple Authorized Service Provider or an Apple Store for verification and exchange. Du, the official telecom provider in the United Arab Emirates, tweeted over the weekend that FaceTime will not be available for customers. Though the iPhone has not yet officially launched in the UAE, Du decided to inform customers that FaceTime will be disabled. There are local restrictions on the VoIP technology that block these kind of communications.
